FAQs for Studio Sessions

Coming to the studio for a session?  Here are key things to know before your session:

-Location: The studio is located at 180 Shaw Street, Suite 311.  It’s on the third floor of Artscape Young place (red brick building).

-Entering the building: Main doors are usually open 9-5 most days.  Please buzz if the doors are closed. The door buzzer number for me is 3111.  If there are any issues opening the main door please call me at 416.418.3204

-Public health: The studio complies with all public health rules.  At any time while vaccine requirements are in place for gyms, please be aware that you will need to present valid photo ID and proof of vaccination at the studio. There is a sign-in station with a COVID questionnaire to complete in the building lobby.  Wearing a mask is part of the session for all participants until the public health rules change to permit sessions without masks.  Sessions run on time as we need to ensure sufficient time for health measures.

-What to wear/bring:  Please wear clothes you can move freely in, as you would for a yoga or other exercise class.  Layers work well. Please wear or bring socks.

-Fees:  50 minute sessions are Cdn$100 plus HST ($113).  80 minute sessions are $150 plus HST ($169.50). Packages of 6 or 10 sessions are available for the following rates, paid in advance: $90 plus HST for 50 minutes ($101.70 per session) and $135 plus HST for 80 minutes ($152.55). -Transportation:  the studio can be reached by car or transit.  Closest transit are the Queen West and Dundas streetcars.  Or for the subway Ossington station (plus 12-15 minute walk).

There is street parking on the streets surrounding the studio.  The nearest parking lot for anyone staying more than one hour is the Green P lot located on the southeast corner of Dundas West and Queen West.

-Amenities:  there is a coffee shop across the street called Found.  We do not have a waiting area or dedicated change area in the studio. However our building has hallway space with chairs.  And there are multiple restrooms on our floor (and all other floors of the building).
